OZZY OSBOURNE 'Feeling Much Better'; Los Angeles Show To Go Ahead
January 31, 2011According to a new message on Ozzy Osbourne's official Twitter profile, the legendary heavy metal singer is "feeling much better today" after being forced to cancel last night's (Sunday, January 30) concert in Reno, Nevada due to a "sudden illness." The message goes on to add that tomorrow night's (Tuesday, February 1) show at the Gibson Ampitheatere in Universal City, California is "happening."
The Reno show was postponed until Saturday, April 23.
Tickets for last night's concert will be honored on the new date.
Ozzy last month postponed the St. Louis and Minneapolis dates on his fall 2010 U.S. tour after he contracted an ear infection, complications from which prevented him from performing.
Ozzy Osbourne will publish a new book called "Ask Dr. Ozzy" later this year. The book will be co-written with Chris Ayres, who collaborated with Ozzy on his memoir "I Am Ozzy", and is a spin-off of the singer's ongoing column in England's Sunday Times in which he offers medical advice.
According to the publisher, the book will "tell incredible survival stories not found in his memoir, offer advice that no human should follow, and shed light on his seemingly superhuman ability to keep breathing." An October 2011 release is expected.
